P3’s services are based on the conviction that the best way forward for the US health system is to enable physicians take the lead in care provision. We provide expert services to all types of physicians and physician-led ACOs so they can institute new operating models that change how care is accessed, delivered and financed. We offer a full set of strategic and management services, from in-depth analysis of the opportunity in a given market through the operation of an ACO’s Managed Services Organization.

The physician-led ACOs we form and manage put people at the center of care and enable physicians to play the leading role in how care is delivered and paid for, to control the budget, and to share in cost savings. They include becoming a Provider-Sponsored Health Plan, providing collaborative care across an integrated, multi-specialty network of providers and partners, and gaining access to a technology platform that facilitates data sharing and analysis. As a result, physicians can focus on providing care while business people run the ACO’s operations to eliminate wasteful spending and generate savings while care quality is maintained and improved.

Some of the ways savings are achieved are by shifting care to less costly settings, taking advantage of scale to realize greater volume discounts, and making it easy for everyone who is involved in a person’s care to collaborate and communicate. Participating physicians are eligible for incremental Medicaid Part B revenue streams for their patients with chronic conditions and other income-increasing opportunities.

With this disruptive model, physicians are in the lead, care outcomes are improved, the costs of providing care are lowered, and physicians have multiple opportunities for new revenue streams.
